Blooming Dress

Stamp is Blooming with happiness by Stampin Up. I finally got a set of Prisma pencils from Michaels and colored the image.

I also used the marvy scallop punch to border the stamped image with a scalloped circle.

The flowers are by prima and I added small pearls in the center. The flowers were then glued to a strip of sheer polka dot lime green ribbon.

The card is embellished with Prima flowers and a pearl brad by creative memories.

THe green edge was scalloped using a corner adorner by EK Success.

Rhinestones were also added for an additional touch.

Christmas in the Summer

I may start slowly working on christmas cards this summer. (That's a big maybe!)

I used the cricut cartridge to cut out the ornament at 4 1/2".

A small eyelet was used to hold the card together. I then covered the eyelet with a smaller pearl.

Shadow Box

This is absolutely one of my top favorite stamps. The stamp is by Inky Antics.

I water colored the girl in using ink pads and water color pencils.

The scallop was cut out using a scallop punch and then glued down onto the card stock. I then used my coluzzle system (which many people hate) to cut out the oval through both layers of card stock.

The sides of the shadow box are glued together and it stands right up. Instructions found on the resources section of splitcoast.

Butterflies and Happiness

The butterfly is a stamp by Stampendous. I watercolored the stamp in using an aquapainter and ink pads.

The pearls are actually pink and adhered with E6000 glue.

The Happiness stamp is by Stampin' Up (Happy Harmony)

I think the paper is by Creative Imaginations, but it's definitely Karen Russell's line.

Prom Night

My little cousin is going to Jr. Prom! Her mom asked me to make some invitations for the event, and I wanted to be sure to incorporate pink and polka dots since my little cousin loves it!

The stamp is "Dawn Houser" Inkdinkado purchased at Michael's.

I used black embossing powder to and versa mark ink to emboss the dress.

The dress is water colored in using a SU stamp pad and an aqua painter.

A circle punch or the cricut machine can be used to cut out the circles.

Pink Cake Stand

The cake stamp is by Stampin' Up (Parlez-Vous Francais?) The "Cherish" stamp is also by SU (Warm Words).

I used my scallop punch (corner adorner) to scallop the edge of the striped paper.

An oval scallop punch was used to create the backing layer behind the cake.

Pearl studs were also glued along the edge of the card.

Cupcake

This cupcake stamp was a steal for $1 at Michael's.

I used a heat embossing technique with glitter embossing powder for the iridescent effect.

I stamped the entire image with Versa Mark, then embossed it.

A round scallop punch was used for the round scallop paper.

The hot pink paper is actually vellum.

Bella: Breast Cancer Awareness

I created a breast cancer awareness card for mother's day. It is for a survivor of breast cancer who is a strong willed mother.

The stamp is a bella stamp: http://www.stampingbella.com/. I love this stamp because it can be used to express awareness and support for a variety of reasons based on color. A yellow ribbon would support our troops etc. I used watercolor crayons, and ink pads by SU to color the image .

The wavy paper was cut out using the wavy paper trimmer by creative memories. I also added stickles to the awareness ribbon, which barely shows up in the picture.

The ribbon is just a piece of tulle that was wrapped around the cardstock and tied into a bow.

The edges of the card were scalloped using a corner adorner by EK Success and then embellished with rhinestones.

The inside of the card is embellished with prima flowers.

In Love

I used my cricut machine to cut out the letter "L" using my Base Camp cartridge. I also shadowed the "L" with pink cardstock to give it a layered effect.

The stamp "Love" is by Stampin' Up and was water colored in.

The edge of the card is layerd with PP (patterned paper) and a thin strip of white cardstock that I scalloped using a corner punch.

A Whole Lot of Love!

This card took forever to make! Such a simple concept, but I just could not figure out how I wanted to do the layout. It turned out nice after all. I scalloped the edges of purple bazzill cardstock using my scalloped edged scissors by Provo Craft. Then layered a strip of PP (patterned paper) by Making Memories. The stamp is by SU (stampin' up) and I colored the image in using water crayons and an aqua painter aslo by SU. I then added stickles all over the heart for a glittery effect. TFL!

Back to School

I have no clue what I will do with this card! I suppose it can be used as a thank you card for a school bus driver, or as a back to school card along with a gift for a young child.

Baby Shower Card

The baby shower for my cousin went fantastic! She asked if I could make thank you cards for the guests, and I came up with the following...
